It has come to my attention that people think that I spend too much time in the Bunker. Which...I'd like to argue but it is totally fair. It's just so full of interesting things. Anyway, I've decided to throw a party.

How do birthdays work if you died?

Can I just claim an age to turn today? 25 wasn't a terrible year. I wouldn't mind being 25 again. I should get some kind all things considered.

The holidays were never really a thing for us back home. I used to try to do something for Sammy when we were kids and occasionally we'd stop for a pie on Thanksgiving but that was it. Plus there was the time that we were almost sacrificed by the most annoying demi-gods.

It might be nice to try and do it like normal people. Cook a turkey, get a tree. I don't know. I was drinking egg nog. I might be a little sloshed.

It's really quiet in the bunker without Jody and the girls. No one has insulted my shoes or my cooking in days.

It's almost making me excited for Halloween. Which is something that I never thought I'd say. Though I've never hated it as much as Sam does.

I've been spending a really long time in the bunker. Making sure I didn't hurt anyone else The bonus is that I've been getting to cataloguing some of the rooms and things that we never got a chance to before. There is so much stuff in this place. I'm wondering if we're going to need to have a yardsale.

So, I have a significant amount of magical ingredients and artifacts. I worry that some of it is at risk of going bad. Is that possible? I have no magical abilities and only know how to do a little bit so it's not getting much use.

I can honestly say this is definitely a first for me, randomly arriving in some incredibly strange place. I'm Lisa, Ben's mother, and I have yet to accept that this is not some crazy fever dream.

If you find yourself in a bind with these ghosts, and they're like the ones back home, you'll want to find yourself something iron. Fireplace pokers, lamp post, whatever you can find. It'll help repel them. Salt is also a big help. Line windows and doors, pack it into shotgun shells.

I've got spare weapons at the bunker if it comes to that. Hopefully, they're just like the ghosts from back home and nothing with any extra Night Vale weirdness.
